This past weekend we found ourselves at the Birmingham NEC for the Memorabilia 2010 Show, and did we have a great time! We had expanded our cake range especially for the event, and they went down a storm! We managed to squeeze in a bit of shopping and met some lovely stall holders including Japanese inspired tee brand Genki Gear (run by husband and wife team Phil and Lydia) and the UK-based Marilyn Monroe fan club Mad About Marilyn.

But it would seem that all the excitement was saved for the Sunday when it was discovered that Justin and Sarah Jane from Cbeebies’ Tikkabilla and Higgledy House were doing a signing- pretty exciting stuff when you have very young nieces and nephews like us and watch a lot of kids TV! They may have caught us singing and dancing along with the little ‘uns…
After a group of Storm Troopers snuck behind our stall and we run into the Stig and the Joker lookey likeys, the weekend had passed by in a blur and it was time to pack up and head home. We will next be in Hertford for Holly’s next vintage fair, then in Brighton for our first Frock Me vintage fair, shortly followed by our very own ‘An A-Fayre to Remember’ Vintage & Craft Fair at the Railway Tavern, Southend on Sunday 2nd May. Anyone who has a crafty side get in touch for a stall!

Keep an eye on our blog category Event Dates for Your Diary to see when we will next be in a town near you!
