Our Little Shop

We have been giving our beloved little shop a makeover over this past month in order to accomodate all of our new lovlies on offer! This includes burlesque inspired cards and tee shirts from Miss Monique’s boutique, a larger range of Steve Hooker tees and our new Hell Bunny polka dot Minnie Mouse-esque dresses and petticoats. These are all soon to be featured on the site so keep your eyes pealed and in the meantime, consider jumping on a train for a day trip to the seaside to visit us!

The Best Thing About Vintage Fairs…

The last few weeks have been all about the vintage fairs for Now, Voyager. We began in Hertford on Saturday 27th Feb for a day of tea and homemade cake for Holly’s Vintage Fair at the Corn Exchange. Our stall was opposite Felicity’s cousin Wes’ amazing vintage comic stall from which we couldn’t resist purchasing a framed 50’s romance comic to put up in our shop! Thank you Emma- who looked absolutely beautiful in her Now, Voyager hair corsage- for coming to visit us and bringing your lovely friends!  We will be back in Hertford for Holly’s next event on Saturday April 17th, see you there?

The following week, on Sunday 7th March we were off to Hitchin for Jenny’s Hertfordshire Vintage Fashion Fair and this established event is so popular it fills both rooms of the Town Hall to the brim. The stalls range from a very large selection of vintage clothing to old movie magazines to an array of homeware including some adorable tea sets. The urge to shop was almost irresitable and if we hadn’t have been quite so busy we could have done some serious damage to our purses!  There is always next time-we will be at Jenny’s next event in Harpington Sunday 16th May.

Thank you Hannah for making sure that we didn’t get lost and for coming along! Next time we will definately take you up on the tour of Hitchin’s fab little boutiques.

We have to confess, our favourite thing about vintage fairs has got to be the tea on tap! That, combined with the eclectic mix of stalls and variety of cake on offer makes it a fabulous experience! If you missed these events, be sure to come along to one of the next ones.
